Pros

It works like a charm. The birds are adorable to watch. Well, it's worth every penny!

The metal pole, feet and auger make it exceptionally sturdy. Easy to refill, too.

The combo seed-catcher/squirrel baffle holds a lot of seed and is high off the ground. Make the top bell larger to keep the seed drier when it rains.

It effectively deters the squirrels and provides a good platform for birds no larger than a bluejay. Its stability also avoids wind problems. Bottom up position is save, but a bit slippery for some birds.

Cons

This item is manufactured with very cheap metal. The curve of the plastic is too smooth for them to get a grip on it. I am in a great spot for birds, but they will not use this feeder.
