    I discovered that 12 34 od galvanized threaded plumbing pipe works although the threading is not a perfect match

    I used a couple short sections of the this pipe along with a connector and an end cap to mount it securely to my deck through a 1316 borehole through a board attached to my deckworked well though not perfectely straight because the threading mismatch

    I originally attached a droll yankees seed tray to the feeder but ive found it really serves no purpose

    It doesnt really seem to be necessary either but doesnt seem to deter any birds from landing on the feeder
