The only problem that ive had is sometimes the scan doesnt read and i end up with just a strip and have to delete and start over

The scanner was unable to decode the bar code information for sc driver licenses

After corresponding with customer service and providing them copies of the licenses that could not be read their programmers provided an update to the software

I like the reader and hope to use it more often the bar code reader has about 98 success rate and i believe the one it did not read was because of some paper taped on the back

Once you install the software and plug it in all you have to do is align it if comes with an alignment card

Just open up the software and put an id in the scanner it automatically feeds it and askes you to flip it over
