Pros

The best elastic threader for me. I prefer to sew my casing before adding in elastic. Great for threading elastic through masks hems. Ordered this to help with the replacement of cloth diaper elastic.

A bodkin is a tool used to run drawstrings through a casing. Excellent tool for bringing ribbons or draw strings through sewn loops. It works great to string a drawstring back into place.

Necessity is truly the motherhood of invention. What a terrific little thing.

Aluminum rod not sturdy for heavy duty elastic projects. Also, not cast as one piece - the ball is soldered onto the end.
