This chuck will allow you to sharpen left hand bits to a chisel point on your dd but it will not add split point capability

Im not sure if the cutter angle is exactly the same as the original but it doesnt really matter because at least they are now useable and i probably would have had to just toss them out otherwise

Works great just use the instructions and spinning the attachment either direction is ok do not have to spin in same direction as cutting edges

If you have left handed bits this is a must have item as the normal chuck does not sharpen left handed bitsit actually makes them worsei know i tried til it dawned on me that maybe a regular drill docor chuck will not sharpen themdrill doctor confirmed this via customer service phone call
