They worked to hold the water in the sink for a few days but one got bent and stopped working
They do not fit tightly and they require the sink to be filled so as to maintain pressure which will allow a seal to be made but it will drain slowly
I purchased these stainless steel sink strainers as a replacement after loosing my original strainer
