But after contacting the seller and they assured me that it would charge wirelessly with the cover on but not through the wallet portion

The part of the phone case that holds the phone is detachable from the rest off the case providing easier thumb typing options and use

I have to remove the phone from the case and it charges fine on the magnet so if this is a priority might want to consider a different case
