Pros

This guide is well organized and includes just the right amount of hand-holding to make it useful without getting tedious. Sometimes a little cluttered.

This guide is awesome! It helps me with some of the puzzles. This guide has great information that helps you find your way around the game.

The walkthrough is by no means a disaster, it's actually well done and very informative. It needs work on spoiler placing though. Partly because you choose among different origin stories that shape how your character develops.

Beautifully crafted, like an ancient tome. The pages offer a background that resembles ancient parchment with mildly visible burns adding to the realism of the feel. Dragon origins is a wonderful totally awesome game.

Cons

I really am ashamed of whoever created this guide for prima as they should be fired! Absolutely pitiful excuse for a prima guide. The equipment section is pathetic.

The maps are very small, (3 or 4 on a single page small) and monochromatic, with difficult to follow legends. The sidequest guides are literally a paragraph long, and are basically summaries of the in game quest text. The information that is in this g... Read More

Do not buy this guide. It's more of a written narrative of the storyline full of spoilers. I get the impression they just wanted to pump out a $25 guide book to make more money off the game. The combat strategy is basic.
