I will start off by saying these foot massage balls are all pretty hard not at all soft or squishy
All 3 of these balls are very firm and for me my absolute favorite is the gray one that they call 34smooth ball

I had some trouble with them scooting away from me so i tried putting one in a long sock and putting the top end of the sock under my chair leg

I recently went to therapy for my plantar fasciitis and the therapists suggested that i just go find some cheap balls to add to my home exercises for my feet
