Im giving 5 stars because did not change colour so far compared to the previous bath mat i had it needs very little cleaning and doesnt smell lovely blue colour that reminds you of a deep oceani let it soak in the bathtub the first time i got it and a very faint bluish colour came out but nothing i would qualify as worrying

Also be sure to press on it the first time you place it in the bathtub to help the suction caps stick to the bathtub surface

I ended up slivering off a sixth of a star for cleaning because its awkward getting it back up and then back down post soaping and washing
