Pros

Using this tank adapter lets me save a bunch of money by not having to buy a lot of camper bottles. Just refill with my big barbecue propane tank. It's tiny so easy to store and almost no fluid left to release when you disconnect like a longer tube.

Cons

The machining is nice however it is a complete waste of money. Not safe. Not gonna happen. Wear gloves and use caution.

Freezing shouldn't be a factor when refilling propane tanks. In the field it's a nightmare because it only fills up to a barely acceptable amount. Started leaking after refilling 10+ bottles. Plus it's really hard and dangerous to hold the big tank up... Read More

At best you quarter refill the small one. It's much easier to go to walmart and buy 4 2-packs. Switched to the brand gas one.

Once done close the gas valve on your big tank and unscrew the bottle

Its only a matter of ounces so i got a digital scale that only goes up to 11 pounds which is way more than these tanks are when filled

With the cost of the small propane bottles we have saved so much by using this to refill our small bottles

Refilling one pound propane canisters is a lot more cost efficient than throwing them away

If you use the small cylinders frequently you will save money
