Pros
The membrane seems a bit more 'gummy' than vhb tape. Use a hairdryer or heat gun if necessary. The razor blade easily slides between the tape and the backing, making removal easy.
Cons
The roll pictured on right is an actual 3m product. It mimics and looks like a 3m brand, but if you look closely, it's not. falsely claims to be a 3m product.
It has zero adhesion. It literally peels right off after you put it on. The foam stretches when you try to separate tge backing.
Buyer beware. Sellers like this aren’t ok.

I placed strips about six to eight inches apart and the tape adheres well at least initially

I also used it to attach some trim above the wainscoting and it also works well there so well that when i placed one trim piece wrong i had to use a putty knife to separate it from the wall only seconds after applying it

One complaint i read in several reviews is that the red backing is difficult to remove from the tape

The answer is to use a razor knife the razor blade easily slides between the tape and the backing making removal easy

It isn’t the same as genuine 3m vhb tape which i used to mount solar panels on the roof of the motorhome but it is much cheaper many applications don’t need the expensive 3m tape

I bought some rain guards for my truck and the adhesive strips that came with it were terrible
