The quality is good and the grip on the brush is nice. Brought first brush and was very impressed.

I think that it would be great for long haired cats like maine *. My three cats beg to be brushed with it. Our outdoor cat has long hair and she loves being brushed!
Cons
The pin side basically does nothing. A regular pet comb does a better job. Arrived broken. Completely unacceptable.
