One recommendation is not to take off the cap from the 5 gallon bottle before installing the pump but rather make a hole in it

As a forward deployed military family it is super hard to get an everyday item like a water dispenser shipped directly to us

If you take that off and set this directly on the jug itself yes it will be loose
