The design keeps the kneecap in place and the knee joint aligned correctly. It looks like great construction and a very well engineered product.
Cons
Sizing is inaccurate and ridiculously small. This brace is hard to get in the correct size. Sizing chart is completely off.
These braces are not interchangeable. One sticker on the box says that's what i was sent. Another sticker, the tag, and the actual brace itself say it's right.
Amazon sends you to the same place where you can't get a refund. There is no option for me to let the seller offer to replace it, so i guess it's a negative review.

The stability for the patella and joint are very well
Not bulky and works great for arthritis knee pain
Beware it takes a few days to break in very uncomfortable first
I have no acl which makes my knee unstable
Price
This one was much better priced and just as good
It was double the price at the medical office not covered by insurance
It is worth the price but if you have to remove it often keep in mind the velcro may not last as long as you anticipate

I just purchased a large instead of xlarge because after the xlarge lost a little elasticity it would slide down a bit so i would have to keep tightening it
