Pros

I work with technicians who assemble custom electronics. I purchased this because it's exactly what they use for small hand work.

Great magnifying visor for the hobbyist or professional. Works well with glasses. Family enjoys seeing their eyes magnified to extra large. Replacement parts are available through amazon and a few other outlets.

The focal plane is narrow but workable. X magnification is great for the kind of detail work i'm doing on ceramics. This headband magnifier has an adjustable headband.

They provide clear, undistorted magnification at a good price. They are indispensable for fly tying. The acrylic lens is excellent; more than adequate clarity for my purposes.

Cons

This amazon product listing is deceptive. I'm inclined to think that this is an * knock-off with substandard materials. This is the second unit the company sent to me and they both have the same problem.

Love them considerd reordering price increase 7 dollars

Public wont purchase the ones of the quality of yesteryear because they would be just too expensive
