It’s much easier to set up that suction type vacuums since it doesn’t have a huge hose that you have to lug around with it. I have a 30,000 gallon pool and this robot works like a champ. Love this vacuum.

Wanting to repair it. Their modern units deteriorate quickly. Found a second email in the manual and emailed the manufacture again. It's on the way back to maytronics for a warranty covered repair.

A truly unacceptable experience all around. I wish i would have trusted my instincts.

Absolute waste of money and a ton of time trying to maintain it. The reliability issues and less than stellar support should be a dealbreaker for anyone contemplating spending this kind of money.

As poorly as it cleans i like to set it to run for 4-6 hours to see if that might help. It leaves obvious patches of silt and dust visible on the bottom to the * eye after running. It can be restarted but stops after 10 minutes.

This vac has worked far better than my old sharkvac

Overall this vac is far superior to the old vac and i would buy it again if i needed another one
