It's warm, but the cotton keeps it from becoming too hot. I expect my 2 identical blankets to perform well this winter. It is soft and not scratchy and crazy warm.

The blanket is sooo rough to the touch. It honestly feels like sandpaper. It's a waffle, it sheds fibers, it is not soft feeling.
