Pros
Cotton seems to gets softer the more you use it. The shedding is normal and will become less over time.
Nothing skimpy or cheap about this blanket. We are both hot sleepers and both enjoy this cooler blanket.
I have a tendency to get warmer as the night goes on. We sleep with our thermostat set at 59-60 f at night.
Cons
This 'blanket' is the consistency of a slightly thick dish towel. The blanket is sooo rough to the touch. It's a waffle, it sheds fibers, it is not soft feeling.
It has shrunk from a king to maybe a full and it has only been washed 3 times. And it seems to be shrinking more each time i wash it. I wash all my laundry in cold water and dry on low, so it should not have already shrunk and thinned by half, nor sho... Read More

The weave on this is fairly tight for a cotton thermal blanket

The blanket does hang enough down the sides to cover up with but just comes short of being able to tuck any blanket in on the sides

Because they are made of lots of 100 cotton in a commercial factory they will be full of loose cotton fibers

That means they will shed a lot of lint in both the washer and dryer when they are first laundered
