The app allows you to set a feeding schedule and the portion size. The feeds go by portions. My only regret is your cats were able to get the lids off and feeding themselves.

The feeder works via bluetooth and wifi. The battery backup option is great feature to have in case the power goes out. The bluetooth feature is amazing! The app is really simple and easy to set up.

The 5th is really just an extra snack) lol! It's a life saver.
