I like that the filter hangs on the side of the pool wall but im not crazy about the filter itself

The filter does not seem like it is big enough for the pool and the filter cartridge wont stay in the bottom

It floats to the top and keeps the flapper in an up position therefore the water cant enter the resevoir and get filtered
