Have not tested this actual collar for sturdiness but i see no reason why it wont stand up to the wear and tear of active dogs

He doesn’t swim and isn’t outdoors too much but with the traditional ones they would look dingy in a couple of weeks

I ended up sending it back and if the company made a 1in version in the circumference i need 17in she would be sporting this collar right now

It is much thicker and will not fit the ecollars or shock collar devices
