Sometimes they get bored with it or cant figure it out which is not ideal

It is also much easier to fill this dog water bowl because the lid floats so you can just use a watering can or water bottle to fill it where the slopper stopper required you to fill it at the tap add the plug to the lid then put the lid on and set it down wait for the water to stop sloshing from all the movement and then remove the plug

At least with my dogs they lick water and fill their mouth entirely then the water drips out of their mouths

If you arent cleaning your dog bowl regularly then yes of course it is going to become gross

He can drink from this bowl but its too small for him
