It never rains here in california but it did a lot at the end of the year. My dog hates the rain, and often refuses to go out if it’s raining. My only kvetch is that i would like the material to be a bit more breathable.
The size xl is perfect for a normal to large samoyed male. I love how the coats flop out to the side a little so all the rain drops off. My baby naya is 40lbs, i got her a large, it covers her well.
Cons

I wanted to make sure that my puppy had some room to grow into the coat so it was loose around the midsection

The belly strap doesn’t velcro small enough but i’m not sure it needs to be

The only issue is the flap in front was too long for her and she trips when she walked because her body is so close to the ground
