Pros & Cons
Pros
The self clean feature is really what got me interested. My therapist tells me not to call myself lazy but if we’re being honest, i’m pretty lazy. Produces an excellent result.
It almost sounds like a clicker and my cat loves his brushies! It’s winter in ohio, so the air is dry and his hair gets staticky. Perfect for my huskies and for mystd poodle as well. My golden doodle loves this brush and so do i!
This is a wire brush for getting the undercoat, of course. It works really pretty well to get a good amount of fur off my cat, but she also becomes so overstimulated by it.
Cons
The retractable bristles idea is petty cool though. The bristles are too short to do a proper brushing and the button that releases the bristles to clean rattles while you brush. Broke in one use after using on my samoyed.
The brush design seems backwards. The blue and white brush looks different as it doesn't say slicker pro on the front, only pet portal. My dog hates this!

This is a money saving venture because the dog can be properly ground and not cost extra money
Packaging/appearance
It does a fine job of removing the loose hair and fluffing the coat
Competitiveness
I use this in combination with a deshedding comb and it works great to get out undercoat hair and the annoying random guard hairs
