Pros
It absorbs the water and mud from the doggy paws. No more muddy footprints when it rains and the dogs come in from their walk.
Cons
The "super gripping backing" is a lie! The look great on the floor, but don't work. The durability is terrible. If you're expecting more than your current mat or towel - this isn't it.
This is by far the most overprice doormat i have ever purchased. Ridiculous and not worth the price.

We just shake it out then wash it every other week in the washer with our mop heads

The color is a deep brown color and the first one never faded even after several years of use and being washed in a regular washing machine
