You need this if you have a hyper pup that won’t sit still. My 50 pound dog is a puller. My dobie is 100lb and is able to move and stay secure.

I like that this tether doesn't have the seatbelt attachment. Keeps your dog in the backseat and out of your lap, or more importantly from becoming a projectile.
Cons
The clip on this thing is useless! After several tries this is actually dangerous for my dog. The clasp has a thin piece of metal that forms the loop. That clip is absolutely flimsy.
