Pros
The longer and faster you pedal the hotter it gets. Bought this for my 4 10, 87 yr old mom to help her with her mobility. Fair price for light duty pedal exerciser.
Cons
The knob only gets so tight until it just slips - won't go any tighter. However, the pedals are too small for his feet. Like the other pedal is stuck.

Its incredibly simple its just the pedals and axle assembly on two legs and the knob pressing against some kind of plate to increase resistance on the axle requiring more force to pedal

Im new to these devices but there were a lot of questions about heat yes the friction from the increased resistance creates quite a bit of heat after a couple minutes of moderate use

The axle is the only part that gets very hot yes it could probably burn you after maybe 510 minutes of use

The heat will also travel down the axle towards the pedal but i dont think melting the pedals is an issue

Ok so for the problems and for the price i think these are excusable but here we go the straps for the pedals seem flimsy and only have 2 adjustments i have smaller feet size 9 mens us and my feet fit about perfectly with shoes on the larger adjustment size for the straps
