Functionally, the cane exceeds my expectations" "it works for me.

This fits in my purse or backpack or carry on. It packs well in a suitcase.

The healthsmart canes &amp are the best ones i own. Purchased for my husband after a ruptured quad and knee surgery. I use this cane following a knee surgery that is taking a long time to heal due to complications.

Cons

The cane collapses as you would expect. I was told to turn it clockwise. The silver material under the black surface is quite noticeable.

The duro-med adjustable cane has an awful handle and tip. The cane also has no wrist strap making it difficult to use both hands when looking at items in a store. The less expensive cane is odor free, has a strap, and is more attractive.
