As other reviews stated mine came with some very small residual pcb nubs on the id of the ring this is not an issue at all and would have never been noticed without the other reviewers comments

It is very bright especially since the ring makes all 24 led point in the same direction so dont look into the ring at full brightness

Im not sure what the current consumption is but at 60 ma per led at full brightness all colors on you will never exceed 1

One of the green diodes in one of the chips was doa so i requested a return through amazon and i promptly received a replacement at no additional cost

If white is an important part of your project consider spending the extra 10 and getting the rgbw version of this ring from adafruit
