The packaging and spacer provided are disposable, in that the spacer fails and the styrofoam box is literally trash. Not the same material under the chrome surface. There is a hazard here that both the vender and amazon is ignoring.

These magnets are too strong. They will cause crushing laceration/contusion and fractured bones if mishandled or handled carelessly.

This magnet was so strong that they had to ship a replacement because the first one ripped through all the layers of packaging

Then take your plastic spatula and push the edge between them displacing the plastic disc that came with the packaging
