Pros & Cons
Pros
The last man (second edition) (beyond armageddon) is a collection of five books by thomas pynchon. Each book includes a note or reflection from the author. This is a great collection of penguin classics.
His essayist style is light and pulls you along breezily. He wanders the nighttime streets of shinjuku with costumed teens. He hears tales of others who spend years in the electronic wombs of tiny apartments.
Cons
Too many clauses. Basically a bunch of introductions and wired articles. I am a great admirier of wiliam gibson's books, and i felt this fell short.
