Pros

This is a fast paced page turner. The story starts with a bang, literally, and picks up momentum until the unexpected ending.

Just enough suspense to keep you want to keep on reading. Good story, as usual, but the kindle version is so chock full of minor errors that it's really annoying.

Rebecca forster builds marvelous characters that you want to know more about. Forster weaves a twisting tale that’s suspenseful and surprising.

Author nails her style. Easy to absorb. Rebecca keeps you guessing until the end.

So many different plots and twists and hard to know exactly who did what until the end

The book frequently bounces around between different characters and that felt a bit jarring at times kind of like a camera was following one person and then starts following someone else away from the scene you had been watching

I wasnt sure if the unnamed man from chapter one was someone i was supposed to know or if suzanne or dawn would be important and i found it hard to be interested in the parts dealing with the cain brothers and jane

I will admit for someone who had not read the first books in this series it was a little difficult to follow the writing style
