Pros & Cons
Pros
These are well worth the money. Here is a pic of them after season is over. Next year, deer fencing.
Used to reduce coddling moth on apple and pear tree, and also apple maggot on apple tree.
Easy to put together, easy to apply the sticky goop. The sticky glue stuff is easy to paint on. The trap is hung into the tree by looping the striaight part of the flexible metal strap around a tree branch.
Cons
Ball can not be reused after the season. Basically didn't harvest any eatable apple this year. Beware, butterflies are attracted to these.
