Pros

The waffles are small which is actually great for making chocolate cake waffles (cake mix) with whipped cream. Close latch and 3:30 seconds made an almost perfect match of crunchy outside and soft inside. He loves this and it made perfect waffles!

Works great so far with pancake/waffle batter. If you add other ingredients to the batter, a longer cook time is necessary. Can be a little slow at times, probably user error with amount of batter in.

Cons

Became extraordinarily hot and emitted an electrical smell. Would not turn on or heat us. The light just means the heating element is heating or not heating.

The hinge is so loose the top wobbles right and left. The waffles are crispy on the bottom, soggy on top.
