Pros

My oldest (6 yo) loves having a fairy garden in her room. I love that it comes with scientific explanation in terms that a school aged kiddo can understand.

This set comes with 3 geodes. I definitely recommend soaking it for a bit to make it easier to excavate the gems. And geodes always provide a surprise.

Cons

This kit is a disappointment from start to finish. My four year old now hates what used to be my favorite childhood activity. What a rip off.

Looked great tho and the birthday girl loved it

Boxes are a little rough looking but still giftable

Gave as a birthday gift for a 9 yr old girl so i didnt see it other than in the box
