Pros
Replacing the starter completely fixed the problem. On an '04, you have to remove a large hose going to the radiator and then a large intake hose that is next to that. Fit my 2006 honda cr-v perfectly.
Works like a charm. Will highly recommend this starter. Bonus great feeling of accomplishment.

The gear teeth have light wear marks which proves to me that the starter was tested under load in the factory. It starts strong. I hope it lasts.
