What i discovered is that the remote is not programmed at all instead the car is put into a learning mode which involves a rather silly sequence of operations which could never happen in real life

Buying these is a little tricky and requires a bit of research to 1 verify that youre ordering the right one and 2 that you will be able to program it yourself versus having to take it to an automotive locksmith and pay them to program it
