This car seat has a lot of fantastic features! This is probably the heaviest feeling car seat i own. This thing is the lamborghini of car seats.
It is comfortable enough to make my baby asleep in few minutes after the road trip beginning. My gal is a 99th percentile toddler and looks great in here.
The diono car seat has an anti-rebound bar that helps keep the seat more secure in a *. It seems really great for all sizes too & especially really helpful for those of you with taller children.

Cushion is dense, comfortable but more importantly it feels as it can absorb some serious impact. The shoulder straps and leg strap have thick, thick padding. The memory foam cushion really seems to relieve a lot of pressure from their bottoms.
Cons
Heavy and difficult to install. Rethreading straps is a huge hassle. Baby cried and cried in pain the first time we put him in it.

Packaging/appearance
We previously used the britax b safe 25 up until he was about 25 lbs and since our child it tall we needed to change car seats
My first suggestion is when you get the carseat to sit down and read the manual

Prosits easier to install than earlier diono radian models 3xt3rxt
Overalli feel stuck with this because it’s a lower profile than the britax and it works for my car
The diono car seat was way difficult to install than my other ones
I have a subaru crosstrek and this seat is very difficult to install correctly safely for rear facing

If you have a regular car or even a compact suv this won’t fit rear facing i have a kia telluride it’s a medium size suv and it fits just right but also because we are not tall people 5

But for me in a 2008 forester getting three car seats 2 were to dionos and an infant car seat did not work
