My dog is a big chewer but is very picky with his toys. It is also hollowed out in the center where you can out treats and such. I have 2 dogs, one is 8 lbs and under a year old, the other is over a year blue heeler and they are chewers.

The pelay dog ball though is a game changer! It's hard to find durable toys for these two! As tough as they are she likes a game where we throw the ball in the air and she catches it before it hits the ground or first bounce.

They have a faint mint smell and the dogs love them. I like the holes and segments because they are good places to put my fingers so she doesn't unintentionally bite my fingers.

Toxic gasses burn your nostril and eyeball. Dogs hate this toy due to the overly strong odor from the factory.
