Pros

Pages are thick so my ink pens don’t bleed through. In the leuchterm, the pages are thinner so you're able to see through the backside. The dingbats journal has thicker pages to prevent this from happening.

Well crafted, thick paper, and a handy back pocket. I love the pocket in the back where i'm keeping business card from realtors. Has a built in pen strap. And has the ribbon to mark your place.

Both are exultant journals. I prefer the texture of the dingbat covers compared to the leuchtturm smooth ones.

Cons

The pages keep on falling out and are unattached at the bottom near the spine. The dot alignment is also an issue vertically from page to page. Any ink you use bleeds through the perforation for the tear outs of every page.

The strap that holds the notebook closed is so much looser than the one with the black and grey. It's attached with weak glue. The elastic band is tight.

Quality is noticeably different, much less. Cover is not stitched, just cheaply glued. The only part reflective of the cost is the hard cover.
