This log set looks sooo realistic. The interior of our old brick box is black, and i did use a sharpie to create a black edge on the screen.
The ember mat definitely has a cheap feel to it but plugged in and in my fireplace it looks perfect and i'm glad i bought it. I'm sure it pulls a lot of amps so will need its own breaker.
Easy to setup and use. Works fine from across my small livingroom.
Cons
Plastic shield is too visible. The remote control is useless.

The heat isn’t great for a room with a vaulted ceiling but if you were buying it for a small room it would be more effective

The plastic shield is hardly noticeable at night but if you have a bright room with a lot of sunlight the plastic shield will be more noticeable during the day
