Pros

It almost perfectly mimicks a gas fireplace. Looks expensive (as it should) and has a great glow. Modern flame is noticeably on the back wall.

Heat is okay. It's the focal point of my home. Heater is really quiet. Very enjoyable unit.

Based on other's reviews, my dented and growling unit seems to be on the better side of the quality curve. I just hope it lasts a long time without issues. Easier than returning. But won't ding the product due to bad shipping/handling company.

This fireplace is beautiful. What a stunning fireplace. It's really beautiful.

Cons

Customer service rep, cheryl, is a waste of oxygen. I question whether this device is ul certified. The product documentation is seriously some of the worst i have ever seen.

Dealing with dimplex customer service is a nightmare. When you have to continually wait a long period of time (45 minutes plus) for a business' customer service it tells you that either they make a bad product, or they don't hire enough people to supp... Read More
