However they are made in india are all cotton and seem large for a placemat until you wash them

They shrink about 12 inches in width after washing them in the washing machine and putting them in the dryer so they are more like a normal size placemat

I took them out of the dryer while they were still damp and them ironed them dry to flatten them out

I have washed these once and they did shrink a tiny bit but not enough to make any difference for use

After washed you will have to press them a bit to get the edges to lay down
