This is more due to an ic on the small board rather than the coil which is actually quite thin

I can slightly mitigate this by angling the reciever as far to the right as possible so it is closer to the middle of the phone but the phone will no longer sit flat

While it is fun to spin it around on its back like this and it still fits in my rubberized case this makes it a bit of an awkward shape and no doubt invalidates the waterresistant seal

I have only tested with charging at 5v 2a and i would probably advise against trying to charge with anything more powerful than this

Overall i think this is a good inexpensive alternative to other solutions though it will not work for everyone

I think it could have been made to fit better considering it is specifically for the galaxy s5 and the coil thickness is quite reasonably thin
