Pros & Cons
Pros
The timer has a tilt stand that tilts out at the back if you want it to stand at an angle. The magnets are on the back, two round button magnets that lie flush with the housing. The only downside is the magnets are weak and it doesn't stick on our fri... Read More
I use this in my classroom to prepare students for it sticks to the whiteboard where the most curious/needing of information can reference it. The display is large and easy to read, and the * do not require a lot of pressure to push. It's fairly compa... Read More
I like how it offers chime or flashing light for notification that the timer is up. A light around the start button will flash in alternating sync with the screen display.
Takes aas. Though most timers take aas, so this isn't too special in that regard. It has an actual on/off toggle switch at the back.
It has a nice loud beeping alarm when the time runs out. Alarm can be set with the sound on or with just the light flashing. Only thing that could use improvement is to make the alarm beep louder.
Cons
The beep sound isn’t loud enough to hear from another room and. The magnets are weak. The weight from the batteries is too much for the small magnets, and the timer slides down the fridge.
Highlights
Quality
Its easy to use and ready to read with the large screen and digits
I like the larger screen and the timer does perform as advertised with the exception of the magnets on the back
They work just fine except that the switches on the back are not flush and actually protrude which interferes with the magnets
The stand quality is a bit suspect too but i wasnt planning on using it anyway i just leave it flat on whatever surface is nearby
Price
The price is so right you could have multiples in different rooms or serving different purposes
It works well is easy to use and the price is right
Packaging/appearance
There is also a physical switch that allows you to choose between the rather load alarm or just flashing on the screen
Competitiveness
Thank goodness it takes a common batter and not a cr2032 or something like that
This timer does require 2aaa batteries which are not included
With better clearer instructions and an obvious way to prevent the timer from automatically resetting itd be a fivestar
