I recommend this seller and this product. My only real dislike for the product is the screen seems to flash constantly.

Cons
Displayed total gibberish. If the manufacturer doesn't care to include instructions, i have zero faith in them. Do not use their instructions.
This is the most dissatisfied i’ve ever been with an amazon purchase. My concern is how did this defect escape the production validation process. This vendor gets one chance to clear their name before i classify them as dishonest.
Qfun brand is much better feel and look. Sparkfun digital caliper is absolute trash. Spend some extra money and get a more reputable product.

The seller needed to fix how to change the battery in the manual from the package if i am corrected the battery enclosure is not slide to open but to unscrew first
