    I truly believe the book would be selling better were it not for the nonsensical introduction by james frey presented in a poorly formatted font and then all the gibberish that follows before the novel actually begins - anyone downloading a sample will barely be able to get to the good stuff.

    The narrator comes off as truly interested in the late nineties alt-pop scene he describes without sounding snobby or too cool.
