As far as i can see these are the same cheap plastic retractable tape measures you buy in craft stores

I had one of these before that i bought at a fabric store and i loved it but it broke so i am glad to have replacements but i am careful not to pull them out all the way which is what happened to my old one and caused it not to retract anymore
