Pros

The temperature inside the jacket is very good about self regulating. It's not very stylish, but it certainly won't leave you cold. Cuts out the wind and wind chills. Also keeps him warm, even on cold wisconsin nights.

The durability is also important for things around camp like chopping wood, making fires, cooking, etc. Jacket is made very well. It fits nicely.

The fabric is tuff and works good against nails and other sharp objects and surfaces. It washes easy. It's soft on thr inside. It is machine washable.

The hood is large enough to fit over a motorcycle helmet. The over sized hood is very nice. It has a smooth lining in the sleeves so it doesn't drag your shirt sleeves up.

Cons

The zipper splits at the bottom and the top. The inside of the jacket is 100% polyester. The zipper only works when it wants to.

Such a shame to cripple this coat with this hood design. The top of the hood comes down to touch my head, and the sides puff out like i had elephant ears!
